Will you champion liberty for Utahns?

Dear Fellow Utahn,

The Libertarian Party of Utah is once again authorized to nominate candidates for partisan elected office. And voters may also now register to vote as Libertarians.

Several races across Utah, including many at the county level, will be uncontested. That is, unless you file to give voters a choice between

The filing period which begins on Friday, March 7, 2008 ends on Monday, March 17, 2008.

The following partisan offices are up for election in 2008.

U.S. House Districts 1, 2, and 3

Governor and Lieutenant Governor of the State of Utah

Attorney General of the State of Utah

Auditor of the State of Utah

Treasurer of the State of Utah

State of Utah Senate Districts 1, 5, 6, 8, 10, 13, 14, 16, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 27, 29

State of Utah House Districts 1-75

Or contact your county clerk to find out what county offices are up for election in 2008.

Our convention is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2008, and begins at 11:00 a.m. at the Sandy Library.
